The aim of this assignment is to design a short clip of stop-motion animation clip. Your animation should be at least 40 seconds long. Professional outcome as possible will be advantage. Details are listed below:
➢ Character: You must include at least one character.
➢ Set: You must include at least two sets for the action to take place.
➢ Materials: Papers, fabrics, clay etc.
➢ Shooting: You may use your own camera equipment.
➢ Sound: There should be some kind of music / sound effects.
➢ Lighting: The style of lighting is appropriate for the setting and mood.
The submission is based on the following format:
1. Report (not more than 5 pages)
a. Title of the clip
b. The storyline
c. The character design
d. The props
e. The storyboard
f. Screenshots of the clip
g. References
2. The animation clip (the clip duration at least 40 seconds long)
The assignment submission:
• A copy of your report (upload your report file in the Moodle, maximum submission size 50MB). Arial 12point font, single spacing, justify text align, Table of contents/Figure & Table numbering. References (use APA reference style).
• Upload your animation clip in the Google drive.
• Plagiarism and collusion are serious offences (copying/quoting work from another source without recognizing will be penalized)
• Late submission will be penalized (deduction of 0.5 beyond the time on the same day and 1 mark for each day afterwards)
